Are you looking for a Senior Project Engineer role in Water and Wastewater Treatment that offers genuine ownership? Well-established Victorian manufacturer with a national project portfolio is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead project delivery end-to-end. Strong project pipeline, a capable and collaborative team, and a salary that reflects the seniority of the role.
As Senior Project Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of technical delivery and engineering management - owning projects from handover through to commissioning, staying hands-on with the engineering and technically sharp while managing scope, budget and schedule. Client-facing when it counts, hands-on with the detail when it matters, and the expertise to guide the team around you. The role demands someone who is equally comfortable in the detail of a P&ID and the discipline of a project plan.
To be considered, you must possess:
* 5+ years' experience delivering projects end-to-end within the water and wastewater treatment industry
* Strong technical knowledge across treatment technologies: MBR, UF, RO and DAF - with a solid understanding of mechanical design
* Proven ability to manage project scope, budgets, schedules and procurement from handover through to commissioning
* Experience coordinating resources: manpower, equipment and materials - across concurrent projects
* Proficiency across the full project documentation suite: P&IDs, PFDs, BOMs, ITPs, MDRs, OM manuals, spares lists and Gantt charts
* Hands-on experience with factory testing, plant start-up and site-based commissioning
* Confident providing technical authority and guidance to both engineering and site-based teams
* Strong client and stakeholder management — able to lead communication from point of sale through to handover
* Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Microsoft Project
* Current Construction Induction Card, unrestricted driver's licence, Australian residency and police check
A background across both manufacturing and site-based delivery environments will be highly regarded
What's on Offer:
* $150,000 – $170,000 + Super
* Nationally scoped projects across a broad range of water and wastewater treatment systems and sectors
* Technical variety - no two projects the same, no narrow specialisation
* A lean environment where capability is recognised, initiative is rewarded and conventions are challenged
