Job Description Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time RN for the Neurosciences ICU at MGH. If you have experience working with neuro patients, this could be an opportunity for you.
Position Highlights:
1. You will be caring for critically ill patients with neurological diagnoses such as stroke, brain hemorrhage, brain or back surgery, head trauma, or spinal cord injury.
2. 22-bed unit serving an adult population.
3. Work alongside a medical team in a challenging, fast-paced environment to develop your professional practice and build a fulfilling career.
4. Unit-based research efforts are among the best in the world, providing bedside CT scans. Patients may require life support systems, including mechanical ventilation and continuous medication infusions to maintain cardiovascular stability.

Minimum Requirements:
* BSN preferred
* Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse required
* Neuro and critical care experience preferred; candidates with general acute care experience and a strong interest in neuroscience will also be considered
* This position requires working a day/night rotation shift
* Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience; new graduates will not be considered
