Job Title: Project Construction Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Construction Manager for an exciting construction project in McLaren Vale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a site-based team of employees and subcontractors across all phases of construction, ensuring effective execution of the project onsite.
* Ensure all work complies with environmental, health & safety, industrial relations, and quality standards, implementing efficient processes to minimize risks.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the broader project team through clear communication and effective collaboration.
* Provide exceptional leadership to all site personnel, empowering them to excel in their roles and drive project success.
* Design and implement short-term and long-term programs to achieve project goals, coordinating resources and logistics to optimize results.
* Oversee the coordination of subcontractors, materials delivery, and site logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
* Analyzing project drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
Requirements:
* Proven background in construction management or a related field, with significant experience in site supervision/foreman roles on large-scale projects.
* A high level of organization, enabling timely completion of tasks and effective prioritization of competing demands.
* A positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity, driving personal and team performance.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams to achieve project goals.
