Better In-Home Care provides disability, mental health, and senior care services to people who need assistance to achieve their aspirations and inclusion in the community. We operate services to support people with disabilities and those whose lives are changed because of accidents, age and disadvantage.

The role

Domestic Assistance Worker to assist and support participants with activities of their daily living, enabling them to live independently by supporting their goals and promoting personal development.

Responsibilities

• Home care and housekeeping duties such as household cleaning and laundry.

Essential Requirements

• Very friendly, respectful, and understanding attitude.
• Current NSW driver licence (minimum P2).
• Access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• COVID vaccination.
• Right to work in Australia.

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience in community or mental health care.

Job details

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $31.46 – $33.06 per hour

Expected Hours: 15 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Morning shift
• Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Driver Licence (required)
• NDIS Worker Screener Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation: Australia (required)
