Senior Analyst, Group Credit Structuring (Large Corporate Team)

Do work that matters:
It's an exciting time to be joining our Large Corporate Team and in this role you’ll be working with complex, high exposure, domestic and global customers originated from both Major Client Group and Institutional Banking and Markets. Other aspects of the role will include credit monitoring and overview, implementation of policy, operational risk, training and guidance across Risk teams and Business bankers.
You will learn financial analysis, credit and structuring skills, undertake delicate and complex negotiations and develop an understanding of financial restructuring / insolvency processes as well as the importance of the Bank’s capital adequacy requirements.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
* An interest or some experience in managing customer relationships with a preference for having assisted customers that require turnaround or financial restructuring.
* A desire to develop the ability to demonstrate care by having compassionate, empathetic and supportive conversations with customers, whilst also having the courage to be firm, fair and pragmatic .
* Wish to gain experience in syndicated debt transactions / corporate finance / risk / credit, including exercising a lending delegation and using judgement in a financial institution would be advantageous.
* Ability to think outside the box, be curious and decisive whilst adapting quickly to new situations.
* Contribute to sound, consistent risk management decisions.
* Interest in developing experience engaging and managing a wide array of stakeholders.
* Advanced financial analysis, written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in financial modelling will be highly regarded.
