Ongoing Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight plus monthly ADO
Portland District Health is expanding our friendly team and are seeking a suitably qualified general Sonographer. If you are a positive, enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking a diverse clinical load then we have the job for you.
About the role:
Work as part of a highly professional multidisciplinary team.
Focus on quality with standard 30-minute appointment times.
Opportunity to work across sonography and radiography if desired.
Enjoy fantastic sea views from the Medical Imaging Department.
Grade 3 classification: $104,135 - $118,981 per annum, pro rata for part-time.
Proposed interviews will take place on receipt of suitable applications.

About you:
In this role you will work as part of a highly professional team to deliver high quality diagnostic Medica Imaging services at Portland District Health. Demonstrate compassionate and holistic patient focussed care, in an acute hospital setting. Contribute to the multi-disciplinary team through excellent communication and organisational skills.
Accredited Medical Sonographer - ASAR Registration
The Grade 3 Sonographer must demonstrate competency and expertise as an all-rounder across breast, general, MSK, obstetrics and vascular imaging.
Upskilling assistance available to round out your practice.

Portland District Health (PDH) provides an integrated health service for the community. The hospital was established in **** on the current site and now provides a comprehensive range of services that include:
Hospital based Medical and Surgical services, Medical Imaging (Radiology), Pharmacy and Pathology
A 24/7 Urgent Care Centre for emergency treatment
Residential aged care for 30 residents at Harbourside Lodge
An extensive range of primary and community services for the local community
PDH delivers services from a single campus, employs around 470 staff with an FTE of approximately 290, and has an active volunteer workforce. The People and Culture Unit sits within the Corporate Services Directorate, with other Units including Finance, Building Services, Food Services, Environmental Services, Executive Support, Administration and Health Information.
