Overview
The Y WA (the Y WA) is a local not‐for‐profit Early Learning Centre (ELC) located on Porter Street in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This full‐time permanent position offers a base salary of $108,482.69 – $110,955.05, a $5.14 per hour remote allowance, 12% Super and a range of benefits including comprehensive health coverage and childcare discounts.

What You'll Be Doing
As Centre Director you will lead your team, chair staff meetings, conduct performance reviews, facilitate training sessions, uphold YMCA policies, and design a high‐quality learning curriculum that enriches the community and supports children, families and educators in body, mind and spirit.
You'll Be Great in This Role If You...
* Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or an equivalent qualification
* Can obtain First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
* Understand the National Quality Framework & National Education & Care Services Regulations 2012
* Have experience as a Director / Centre Manager or Assistant Director (or similar) in an early childhood setting
* Are known for providing visionary leadership to maintain a high quality, inclusive and safe learning environment
* Have inspired and led a team of educators and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture
* Retain knowledge in child development / high quality programming practices
* Have an understanding of financial and administrative functions
* Can obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card
