Seadar Contractors Pty Ltd was incorporated in June 2014 and has operated from that date as a company specializing in civil infrastructure works. Over the course of the years, Seadar Contractors have carried out high-quality work on numerous projects of varying complexity while building up the experienced workforce, capable of delivering formwork, concrete and steel fixing packages in the infrastructure and civil engineering sector.
We are currently looking for suitable Mechanical Engineer to secure, long-term work on these projects.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN GOLD COAST.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide engineering support for the installation and delivery of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements
* Design and develop mechanical systems and components.
* Conduct assessments and troubleshooting of mechanical issues on project sites.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
* Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and report to senior engineers and project management.
* Participate in design reviews, liaise with consultants, and provide input on constructability and technical solutions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
* Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
* Prepare and review technical documentation and detailed reports.
* Overseeing and directing rail construction projects from conception to completion
* Performing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and risk analysis, Identify and mitigate project risks
* Applying engineering principles to solve technical problems related to rail projects
* Resolve any issues or delays that arise
Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role
* Strong knowledge of engineering principles
* Excellent project management skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Ability to read and understand technical plans and drawings
* Familiarity with local and federal railway regulations
* BSc degree Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
* Design management experience on medium-sized projects or packages
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively throughout all facets of our organisation and with external stakeholders
Experience:
* Position available for graduate to gain experience in the construction industry
* Experience in working with a wide range of professionals/trades
