Position Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for guiding the lifecycle of Air Maestro from strategy to delivery, ensuring alignment with company goals, customer needs, and regulatory standards. This role requires robust collaboration across engineering, design, marketing, revenue, and support teams, with a focus on delivering measurable value and maintaining competitive differentiation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as Product Owner: Act as product owner in Agile processes, including backlog ownership, sprint planning, scrums, reviews, and demos.
- Manage Feature Requests: Manage the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of feature requests from customers, ensuring alignment with business value, feasibility, and market impact. Develop customer feedback loops to validate new concepts and inform product evolution.
- Own Product Initiatives: Translate strategic direction into actionable product initiatives, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting visuals (e.g., workflows, wireframes).
- Gather Business Context: Gather market, customer, and stakeholder input to capture workflows, operational rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Delivery Teams: Partner with Engineering, Design, and QA to deliver high-quality features, instrumentation, and testing that meet business and technical standards.
- Maintain Roadmaps: Establish and maintain product roadmaps; monitor adoption, performance, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with Marketing and Revenue teams on go-to-market readiness, product launches, and collateral such as case studies, whitepapers, and FAQs.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of and hands-on experience with Air Maestro.
- Product management or product owner experience, preferably in SaaS or mission-critical software.
- Strong technical management skills and ability to work closely with engineering teams.
- Proven ability to translate complex needs into clear documentation, visuals, and actionable requirements.
- Proficiency with AI tools for research, analysis, and productivity.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and business audiences.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and QA/test support.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of aviation, dispatch systems, real-time operations software, or industries with regulatory complexity is preferred.
