First Aider / Administration Officer

Trinity Lutheran College is seeking a proactive and compassionate First Aider and Administration Officer to support student health services and provide administrative support across our Middle and Senior Years Campus (Years 6 to 12) on a 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract.
Working as part of the College Health team, this role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Health Centre (sickbay), providing first aid care, supporting student wellbeing, and assisting with administrative functions across the campus. The position works under the direction of the College Nurse (Registered Nurse) and contributes to a consistent, high-quality approach to student care and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
Heath Centre/ First Aid
* Provide first aid and initial assessment for student illness and injury
* Manage student presentations to the Health Centre including maintaining accurate and confidential records of all student presentations
* Escalate and refer more complex or high-risk cases to the College Nurse (Registered Nurse)
* Prepare and restock first aid kits, including those for excursions and off-site activities
* Ensure the Health Centre (sickbay) remains safe, hygienic and well-resourced
* Administer medications and emergency treatments in accordance with parental consent and legislation
* Work collaboratively and under direction of the College Nurse (Registered Nurse)
Administration Support
* Provide administrative support and coverage across campus as required
* Assist with general office tasks, data entry, and record management
* Support coordination and communication between campuses as a shared resource
* Contribute to efficient day-to-day operations within a busy school environment
About You
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Demonstrated experience in a first aid, health support, or administrative role (school-based experience highly regarded)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a calm and caring approach
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and record-keeping
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Committed to student wellbeing and providing a high standard of care
