**Payroll Officer - Hybrid - Adelaide**

**We are hiring at Aspire Software for a Payroll Officer to join our growing global team to help shape, develop and support our portfolio of Enterprise Software businesses in Australia**

Our people are our greatest assets, and we are on the lookout for a Payroll Officer who shares our values, is ready to participate in the HR team initiatives and strategy and is capable of independently managing the entire HR function and monitoring Payroll in a dynamic and growing portfolio of companies based in Australia.

As an HR professional in our team, you'll be the cornerstone and leader of all HR activities, playing a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and nurturing our company culture for Australia.

**What your day will look like**:

- Deliver compliant and efficient payroll processing, ensuring accurate data that is up to date with employee changes, enterprise agreements, legislation and regulatory changes
- Assisting with preparation, balancing and reconciliation of payroll tax, group tax, PAYG tax and superannuation and authorized payroll deductions
- Resolving enquiries from employees
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to the daily payroll activities

**About You**:

- **Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or similar**:

- **5+ years of experience in Payroll**:

- Interpersonal communication skills, effective collaboration, diplomacy, and assertiveness
- Numeric accuracy, excel expertise, attention to detail
- Strong organization, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relatable systems
- ** Legally authorized to work in Australia
