Verve Partners are proud to be partnering with a leading client-side consultancy providing specialist advisory, planning, and end-to-end project delivery services across the construction and property industries.
This reputable, locally owned Newcastle-based firm delivers a broad portfolio of projects across Defence, Education, Government, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Retail, and Hospitality.
This role will oversee the delivery of civil infrastructure projects, managing end-to-end outcomes from design and approvals through construction to handover. You'll ensure quality delivery, stakeholder alignment, and full compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all facets of project delivery including financials, programming, documentation, contract management, and risk management.
Manage project schedules, reporting, budgets, contractors, and consultants to achieve approved timelines and outcomes.
Coordinate site activities and ensure works are delivered in line with engineering designs, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with authorities, consultants, engineers, and the community as required throughout project delivery.
Manage head contractors to ensure delivery meets project expectations, including WHS requirements.
Track and report project progress against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and timelines.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, proactively managing risks and issues.
About You
Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in a project management capacity.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects from design through to construction and handover.
Strong contract administration experience.
Confident leadership and excellent communication skills.
Strong understanding of civil infrastructure works, including residential subdivisions, road construction, culvert installations, inground services (water, sewer, stormwater, electrical, NBN) and associated earthworks.
Engineering or Construction Management degree.
Ability to work autonomously while thriving in a client-side, multi-project environment.
