Responsibilities
Design and Develop Internal Developer Platforms: Architect scalable, secure, and user-friendly platforms that streamline the developer experience.
Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate and standardize infrastructure deployment.
Manage and Optimize CI/CD Pipelines: Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.
Develop Reusable Tools and Services: Create and maintain libraries, templates, and automation scripts that can be leveraged across teams.
Implement Self-Service Capabilities: Enable development teams to provision and manage their own infrastructure and services through intuitive self-service portals.
Securing Applications by reviewing and reporting on Security gaps from tools like New Relic, Checkmarx, Postman etc. and take them to closure
Monitor Platform Health and Usage: Set up observability tools to track logs, metrics, and traces, ensuring high availability and performance.
Define and Promote Best Practices: Establish golden paths, coding standards, and operational guidelines to drive consistency and quality.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, QA, security, and operations teams to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
Drive Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Identify bottlenecks, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance developer productivity and platform efficiency.
Cost Optimization by reducing operational costs on Azure cloud
Support Incident Response and Root Cause Analysis: Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot platform issues, and contribute to post-mortems.
Document Systems and Processes: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for platform components, tools, and workflows.
Champion a DevOps Culture: Advocate for automation, collaboration, and continuous delivery across the organization.
