Retail Manager Job Description
The Retail Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our retail operations, overseeing daily store activities and leading sales and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day store operations, including customer service, conflict resolution, roster management, and stock level management to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
* Oversee inventory management, planning stock orders, write-offs, returns, and credit notes to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable prices and performance standards, driving business value and enhancing profitability.
* Develop and execute local marketing campaigns, focusing on KPI management, product mix decisions, online sales, discounts, and promotions to boost sales and revenue.
* Manage accounts, including reconciliations, pricing strategies, and payment processing to ensure timely payments and minimize financial risks.
Requirements:
* Awarding advanced diploma or associate degree from a recognized institution.
* 4 years of experience working with Point of Sale (POS) software, ensuring seamless transactions and efficient operations.
* 4 years of experience driving sales targets and KPIs, consistently delivering high-performance results.
* 5 years of customer-facing experience, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
* Australia Work Authorisation to work legally within the country.
Working Style:
* Able to work extended 12-hour shifts, adapting to rotating rosters and meeting changing store conditions.
* Flexible and adaptable, responding effectively to dynamic situations and priorities.
