South Burnett CTC Inc (CTC) is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds facing various challenges. Our services encompass Foster Care, Residential Care, Youth & Family Services, Domestic and Family Violence Support, Disability Services, and more, operating across Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango, and Murgon.

We are committed to providing comprehensive support and resources to those in need, with a focus on early intervention and empowerment through our various programs.

**Position Overview**:
The Family Support Practitioner will be an integral part of the RENEW Intensive Family Support program. This role involves working closely with families experiencing complex needs, aiming to prevent Child Protection interventions by utilising a strengths-based approach. Practitioners will engage in home visits, implement practical support strategies, and collaborate with various service providers to ensure families receive the assistance they require.

As part of this role, you will work with families for approximately nine months, helping to address issues such as domestic violence, mental health challenges, and social isolation, while developing individualised case plans and conducting assessments.
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field
- Experience dealing with complex family issues, including domestic violence and mental health
- Strong skills in case planning, risk assessments, and safety planning
- A commitment to using a strengths-based, empathetic approach in family engagements

**Salary & Benefits**:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $44.58 per hour, with additional benefits such as salary packaging options. You will also have access to ongoing professional development and support within a collaborative team environment.
