Key Responsibilities
* Meal preparation and service: With guidance from the Team Leader, prepare beverages and food according to the menu, and make and serve coffee (training provided).
* POS / cash register: Serve customers and provide friendly customer service using the cash register/POS system.
* Set up and clean up: Assist with initial set‐up, clearing tables, packing up, washing dishes, and waste disposal, maintaining neatness and hygiene.
* Manage stocks and storage: Ensure food stocks are replenished, maintain use‐by dates, and store and label items correctly in accordance with food safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in food preparation, handling and service.
* Relevant food handling qualifications as required by local council authorities.
Background Check Requirements
Background checks play an important part in our commitment to being a safe organisation. For this role, a Police Check is required because the position involves handling money. Additional checks may be required for child‐related roles.
Time Required & Commitment
Fixed roster with flexible times as agreed.
