Handyperson/Maintenance Officer – Grafton
Experienced Maintenance Officer required to complete property and grounds maintenance tasks for our residential aged care client in Grafton NSW.
Casual, 37.5 hrs/week, $36.20 / hour plus 12% Superannuation.
Responsibilities
* General repairs around site including plaster repair, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry.
* Moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, installing and repairing hardware.
* Preventative Maintenance such as booking scheduled maintenance with contractors (e.g., gutter cleaners, air conditioning service) and maintaining tools and equipment.
* Grounds maintenance including gardening, mowing, weeding, leaf blowing, edging, plant care and other general grounds maintenance as required.
* Ensuring the site and equipment are maintained and well presented.
* Identifying and reporting hazards and safety issues.
Essential Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role.
* Great communication skills.
* Ability to get along with the elderly.
* Demonstrable WHS understanding, including identifying hazards.
* National Criminal History Check (Police Check) or willingness to undergo.
