Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant / Yard Person to support workshop and yard operations.
* Assist tradespeople with general workshop duties
* Load and unload trucks and deliveries
* Operate forklifts and other yard equipment (training provided if required)
* Maintain a clean and organized yard and workshop area
* Perform basic mechanical tasks and equipment preparation
* Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
* Support inventory control and stock movement
Requirements
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn, hold a forklift ticket, be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks, possess good communication skills and a positive attitude, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
