What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in a small, fast-paced kitchen with kitchen management skills.
- Comfortable working across all stations as needed including daily preparation.
- Breakfast and catering experience are a must. Trade qualified chef.
- Strong focus on organization, food safety, cleanliness, stock rotation, inventory control, manage costs and waste.
- Quality assurance – Oversee dishes being served and plated to make sure they are of a high standard, and each dish is uniform in presentation with a keen eye for detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills – English Speaking.
- Well-groomed/presented clean cut chef – open kitchen.
- Able to multitask and react to situations and think on your feet.
- Menu creation, planning and weekly special suggestions to reflect seasonal ingredients.
- No 88-day Visa Applicants or Sponsorship
- Willing to commit to more of a long-term position
- Must work well within a small group.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Staff Supervision -delegate tasks effectively and have a strong ability to lead and motivate a team. High morale among team members with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
