Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Test and commission onboard, trackside, communications, and control systems.
* Perform factory and site testing.
* Identify faults during set-to-work activities and commissioning.
* Support the engineering team by verifying design inputs against installations.
* Set-to-work test and commission onboard signalling equipment.
* Verify designs against wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and cable plans.
* Support the Commissioning Manager to ensure timely Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports.
* Support the continuous improvement of project documentation.
* Support the Construction team with wiring, termination, installation, and attending project progress meetings.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
* Educational qualification: Electrical Trade or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
* Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role, preferably in the Rail Signal industry.
* Skills: Proficient in using Test equipment, Computer-based test software, Microsoft Office Suite, Incident/accident investigation, ERP and Configuration Management tools, Database tools, and budgeting.
