Job Summary

Join us in our recovery and support initiative to help individuals live independent and fulfilling lives in the community. The role is part‐time and based in Ballarat YPARC. Remuneration is SCHADS Level 3B at $38.65 per hour, with salary packaging up to $15,899 and 17.5% leave loading.

Responsibilities

* Develop individual service plans with each participant incorporating goal setting for skill and knowledge development toward recovery.
* Encourage linkages into a range of activities to support the achievement of goals, including all Wellways services.
* Ensure that all operational and administrative requirements are met, including regular reporting and record‐maintenance.
* Maintain safe work practices and a safe and healthy environment in accordance with occupational health and safety policies and legislation.
* Actively participate in team meetings, service planning sessions, PDR supervision and staff development activities.
* Represent Wellways in a variety of settings, including agencies, members, participants, carers and families to raise awareness of mental health issues at the local level and to promote the organization regionally.
* Contribute to a positive team culture and effective service delivery.
* Intake and assess YPARC participants.
* Deliver group programming as scheduled.
* Conduct daily key‐work sessions with participants.
* Support facility cleanliness and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

* Certificate IV or Diploma in Mental Health, AOD, or a related community services field, and relevant experience or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Current valid Driver's License and ability to undertake travel for the role.
* Right to work within Australia.
* Satisfactory National Police Records Check.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
