We aim to empower individuals on the spectrum and their families to bring about meaningful change based on functional goals. We work in partnership with the individual and their support network to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capacity and work with participants' interests.
Key Responsibilities
Meet participants in their community setting to support building inclusive environments that suit their needs and work on transferable skills relevant to their everyday lives.
Support registration or continuation of registration with the Quality & Safeguards Commission as a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner, with a strong individualised support and supervision structure to assist in the development of learning & career goals.
Requirements
What you bring:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health discipline (Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, etc.) or Education
* Current driver's license, use of own vehicle for business purposes, and willingness to travel across your local community
* NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
* Working with Children Check for paid employment in your state
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' certificate
* You may be required to provide an international police clearance
