The role
We are partnering with an established global technology company that specializes in networking and connectivity solutions. They are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand channel partnerships across Australia and New Zealand.
This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional who enjoys identifying new business opportunities, building strong partner relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with systems integrators, resellers, distributors, and end users across the ANZ region.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and account development activities.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to partners and customers.
- Support channel partners in identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities.
- Manage inbound leads and enquiries, providing timely responses and appropriate solution recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners to drive market growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute sales strategies and achieve territory objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and opportunity records within the CRM system.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and territory updates to management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 2 - 10 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or channel sales.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Self‐motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.
- Experience within networking, telecommunications, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or related technology sectors is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is preferred.
