Rostering and scheduling coordinator (90M ) Brisbane, Australia

Salary: AUD75000 - AUD85000 per annum + +Super

Brisbane's South | $75,000 - $85,000 per annum

We are currently seeking an experienced Rostering Officer with strong scheduling abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is an opportunity to contribute to a supportive and values-driven team, ensuring consistent care through efficient staff coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate the day-to-day business operations, from checking and responding to emails to scheduling staff.
- Create, maintain, and adjust staff rosters to ensure optimal shift coverage.
- Liaise with care staff, case managers, and clients to manage shift allocations.
- Match staff availability and qualifications with client preferences.
- Coordinate replacements for unplanned leave or absences (sick leave, emergencies).
- Communicate schedule updates clearly to both staff and clients.
- Utilise rostering software to maintain accurate staff records, availability, and compliance documentation.
- Create reports for clients with updates on works needed.

Your Skills and Experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication to engage and build relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders.
- Highly organised with outstanding time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- A quick thinker, adept at filling last-minute shifts and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with limited supervision.
- A strong desire to learn and develop your skills continuously.
- Proven ability in conflict resolution, particularly between staff availability and client needs.
