As an Identified Navigate Your Health Nurse Navigator you will bring and in-depth knowledge of the unique health needs of children and young people in contact with child safety and or youth justice systems. Further to this your cultural knowledge, connection and expertise will provide further support to the team and young person to ensure that all clients coming under Navigate Your Health have culturally safe experience from which they can thrive.

About the Team
Navigate Your Health is a diverse team of Nurse Navigators that delivers person-centred, trauma informed care to children and young people who are in contact with child safety and or youth justice systems. Navigate Your Health works in partnerships with families, and their care teams to improve health outcomes, create positive, culturally safe experiences that build trust and empower children, young people, families, and their care teams.
About the Role
In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values.
You'll fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQHHS) commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
