Our client is seeking a motivated Priority Support Specialist to join their Technology Remote Operations Centre (TROC) in Brisbane. You'll play a key role in maintaining safety- and production-critical systems across multiple sites, working on a 24/7 roster with 12.5-hour day/night shifts.
What You'll Do:
* Monitor and resolve system faults to maintain reliable operations
* Collaborate with dispatch teams, internal support, and vendors to restore system availability
* Perform scheduled maintenance, minor system improvements, and software updates
* Investigate incidents and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Apply risk controls to minimise service impacts
* Communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
* Tertiary or vendor qualification in IT, technology, science, or engineering
* Experience in an IT/OT Operations Centre or similar environment (preferred)
* Remote site or process control operations experience supporting mission-critical systems (preferred)
* Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and proactive
* Familiarity with IT Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL processes
* Basic understanding of networks, hosting systems, and application support; Fleet Management System knowledge is a plus
