FICS is responsible for provision of professional support, technical expertise and information for decision-making in relating to Activity Based Funding, Clinical Costing and Service Delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic and analytical advice and recommendations to senior management, executive, service groups and key stakeholders to enable informed and effective service delivery modelling and decision making.
- Develop and implement strategies to operationalise the use of casemix and costing information to ensure that HHS staff are best placed to support the maximisation of funding opportunities.
- Proactively provide strategic advice and recommendations to board, executive and other managers in relation to Queensland and National funding models so that HHS funding opportunities are maximised.
