Job Description

We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Kotara NSW.

In this diverse role, you will enjoy flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions, supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Your duties will include:

* Case management (caseloads are manageable, with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
* Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
* Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer‐funded injury prevention programs
* Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
* Completing various assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or motor‐vehicle accident injuries

Qualifications

You will be a driven and energetic professional with the following qualities:

* Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy with registration with AHPRA or ESSA
* Previous experience in the occupational rehabilitation industry is highly regarded
* Fabulous communication skills – getting to know clients and stakeholders
* Compassion, kindness and empathy
* Well‐developed time‐management skills
* Current NSW Driver's License and access to an own car with comprehensive insurance
