Children's Care Lead Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Children's Care Lead to join our team. The role involves overseeing daily operations, guiding staff, and ensuring children receive consistent, compassionate care that promotes safety, development, and emotional wellbeing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
\

1. Providing direct care to children with learning disabilities in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.
\
2. Leading and mentoring staff to ensure consistent behavioural management and high standards of care.
\
3. Supporting the Registered Manager with daily operational duties and documentation.
\
4. Safeguarding all children and ensuring appropriate referral matching and care planning.
\
5. Coordinating handovers, appointments, and delegating responsibilities effectively.
\
6. Delvevering staff supervision and supporting professional development.
\
7. Ensuring records such as care plans, reports, and risk assessments are maintained and up to date.
\
8. Assisting with personal care and promoting social, educational, and recreational inclusion.
\
9. Previous experience working as a Children's Care Lead, Senior Residential Support Worker, Deputy Manager, Care Coordinator, Care Supervisor, Care Practitioner, or in a similar role.
\
10. At least 1 year of experience in child care.
\
11. A Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent.
\
12. Strong communication skills.
\
13. A full UK driving licence.
\
