This is a challenging role that involves working in the field of Children's social care law, which encompasses local authority pre-proceedings work, care proceedings and safeguarding orders.
You will be part of a team that works closely with clients to deliver their service objectives and priorities. This includes providing advice, support and assistance to client officers, elected members and other key stakeholders from across the public and private sector.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of adult social care and health law. They should also be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the division to provide a high quality, efficient and professional legal and democratic service.
In this role, you will advise, prepare and conduct proceedings acting as an advocate for the Council at court, tribunals, inquiries and other statutory and legislative hearings.
