A well-established and highly regarded private client team is seeking a Solicitor to join its succession and estate disputes practice. You’ll work closely with two senior Partners, including a QLS Accredited Specialist in Succession Law, in a team recognised for its technical expertise, strong systems, and high-quality client outcomes.
About the Role
This is a genuine opportunity to build depth in estate litigation within a structured and supportive environment. While the role primarily focuses on contested estate matters, you will also gain exposure to broader succession and private client work. The team is highly organised, with clear processes, strong supervision, and consistent mentoring, providing support to develop confidence while taking ownership of your files.
You’ll work across matters including:
* Estate administration and succession planning
* Powers of attorney and advance health directives
* Superannuation, trusts, and asset protection
* Wills, testamentary trusts, and complex family and international structures
About You
* Minimum 1+ years PAE in estate litigation and/or wills and general private client work
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently
* Confidence in communicating with clients
* High attention to detail and organisation; ability to manage competing deadlines
* Familiarity with ActionStep, iManage Work, or Lawdocs (preferred)
