Base pay range

A$160,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr

We have partnered with one of Australia's leading Health & Aged Care providers in order to facilitate a system implementation for their growing business. In this position, you will be joining an organisation that celebrates community and is dedicated to bringing in, developing, and retaining top talent to create a workplace where everyone belongs.

About the role:

Our client is undergoing a transformation of systems as well as updating and implementing a new cloud-based system to improve their Time & Attendance and Rostering functionality. This role will provide payroll systems and data expertise to support the successful delivery and integration of these new technologies, ensuring accurate, compliant payroll processes for a diverse workforce under industry-specific agreements and regulations.

Duties:

1. Lead payroll expertise in system implementation and upgrades, liaising with project teams and stakeholders.
2. Contribute to project planning, identifying risks and ensuring timely completion.
3. Provide subject matter expertise in Rostering, Time & Attendance, HCM, and Payroll systems.
4. Complete project tasks on time, escalating issues as necessary.
5. Deliver data extracts, analysis, and cleansing for system migration.
6. Guide payroll system integrations (e.g., employee records, leave, hours).
7. Develop test scripts and participate in testing to ensure system integrity and compliance with awards.
8. Validate system configuration and ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements and relevant policies.
9. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and identify opportunities for system enhancements.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and system roadmaps to optimise payroll operations.

Skills and Experience:

1. 3+ years experience in Chris21 system administration and payroll configuration.
2. 3+ years experience with Time Target/Humanforce; Enterprise Agreement config knowledge preferred.
3. Expertise in managing payroll and time & attendance solutions.
4. Strong understanding of system architecture, integration, and functionality in payroll environments.
5. Skilled in troubleshooting, testing, and resolving application issues.
6. Knowledge of user access control and audit processes.
7. Proficient in Excel/Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
8. Experience interpreting complex Industry Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
9. Strong communication skills, able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
10. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
