Job Title: Purchasing Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Canberra.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to assist with procurement processes, coordinate meetings and workshops, and provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the preparation of procurement documentation;
* Performing quality assurance checks on procurement documents;
* Coordinating and facilitating procurement related meetings and workshops;
* Providing advice and guidance on procurement and contract management to internal stakeholders;
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
* Developing and administering contract management plans;
* General contract management responsibilities;
Requirements for the role include:
* Experience with and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and relevant legislation;
* Experience conducting complex end-to-end procurement approaches;
* Ability to draft complex procurement documentation, including RFT documentation and commercial arrangements;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* High level of organisational and time management skills;
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
