About the role
The Gyprock Trade Warehouse Operator is a Full-time position, based at Narellan (Smeaton Grange) - NSW. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre, andyou will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.
In this role you will:
* Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers
* To assist with day-to-day activities across both the store and warehouse, involving approximately 80% manual handling tasks and 20% forklift operation.
* Stock movements and the maintenance of stock
* Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements
* Unloading inbound orders of stock
* Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
* Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to
* Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping
Your hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6:00am to 3:00pm. Saturdays 7am to 11am (paid as overtime) possible once trained.
About you:
1. Current forklift license with sufficient experience
2. Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
3. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
4. A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
