Randstad has partnered exclusively with a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services. Due to continued growth our client based in the Welshpool are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team.
Your Duties:
* The Customer Service Officer is required to collaborate with the sales, production, and engineering teams on quoting, pricing and product delivery
* You will be responsible for calculating pricing and generating quotations for all parts and services
* Process all customer and vendor purchase orders in the ERP portal
* Navigate customer portals for retrieving customer orders
* A large part of the role is to manage customer queries and complaints in a timely, respectful and diligent manner
* Required to price and quote all parts utilising software and stock control sheets
* Responsible for intercompany orders
* Accurate record maintenance
About you:
* Sales experience, preferred in the Industrial sector (advantageous)
* Mechanical knowledge/aptitude (Prior L&M Radiator experience is advantageous)
* Financial acumen and strong IT skills
* Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system
* Technical, mechanical, and industrial knowledge needed to include blueprint reading
* Experience in preparing a wide variety of reports, spreadsheets and documentation
* Strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
