Hands‐On Storeperson Role in a Unique Alpine Environment.
Play a vital role in keeping essential food and goods moving safely and efficiently to Blue Cow. This hands‐on warehouse role is ideal for someone who values safety, accuracy, and teamwork, and enjoys being part of a unique alpine supply operation.
The Storeperson is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of food and goods through the Bullocks Flat Freight Shed. The role ensures compliance with food safety standards, rail safety legislation, and organisational procedures, supporting reliable operations and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
What You'll Do
* Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch food and goods accurately and on time for uphill delivery to Blue Cow
* Operate forklifts and work with hydraulic levelling docks to load and unload deliveries
* Load and unload freight cars in accordance with rail safety guidelines
* Ensure all goods are handled and packed in line with NSW Food Authority and food safety requirements
* Maintain clear communication with the Blue Cow Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager to meet operational needs
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
* Actively contribute to a positive safety culture and comply with all WHS and environmental policies
What You'll Bring
* Required - Forklift Licence
* Required - Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Desirable - A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
* Experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Proven ability to safely load and unload trucks and freight
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and compliance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Physical capability to lift up to 20kg and use manual or electric pallet equipment
