Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate Butcher who wants to continue the true legacy of whole beast butchery. This role is ideal for someone who is not only skilled in butchery but also committed to fostering community connections and promoting a love for sustainable food practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Butchery & Culinary Education: Oversee all aspects of butchery with care and precision. Share your knowledge with customers, helping them choose the best cuts and discover exciting ways to prepare nourishing meals.
* Building Relationships: Cultivate meaningful connections with our customers. Develop educational workshops and events that embrace cooking and butchery skill
* Operational Harmony: Help manage daily operations, including ensuring a clean, welcoming space that reflects our commitment to quality and sustainability.
Qualifications:
* Qualified in butchery and meat preparation, with a passion for sustainable practices.
* Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration & inclusion.
* A creative spirit, capable of engaging and inspiring customers
* Knowledge of nutrition and cooking techniques is a plus.
* Retail butchery experience is preferred however not essential
