Role Overview
We are seeking a Carpenter / Leading Hand (or a qualified carpenter ready to step up) to join this high-performing team.
You will work across all stages of luxury residential projects, contributing to framing, fit-out, and finishing works, while maintaining exceptional standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Framing and structural carpentry — walls, floors, roofs, stairs, and decks to precise tolerances
Detailed fit-out and finishing — doors, skirtings, architraves, cladding, and hardwood flooring
Reading and interpreting building and carpentry plans to execute works accurately
Installation of architectural and structural timber elements to premium specifications
Set-out, measuring, and levelling using laser levels and site drawings
Collaborating with site supervisors, builders, and trades to maintain project flow
Maintaining a safe and organised worksite in line with OHS requirements
Problem-solving on site for buildability or design adjustments
Delivering high-quality workmanship consistent with luxury builds
Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Carpentry, with minimum 2 years post-trade experience preferred
Experience in high-end residential projects, with strong attention to detail
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
Ambitious and keen to progress into a Leading Hand or Supervisory role
Fully tooled, with reliable transport, valid driver's licence, and construction white card
