This is a great opportunity to work with Australian’s leading broadcast media organisation and will give you the opportunity to improve your journalism skills and take another step in your career. Reporting to the Northern News Editor, the successful applicant would be responsible for sourcing and writing broadcast news in our vital Ballina news market. What you'll do: Generate original daily story ideas for on-air presentations Interviewing, writing and voicing Develop and maintain contacts in the community Research and prepare news reports Create an effective and respectful rapport with internal and external stakeholders What you'll bring: You are an experienced Journalist, a talented and motivated self-starter who can effectively maintain high levels of personal organisation and time management practices. You possess creative mindset with energy, enthusiasm and a strong knowledge base in journalism.
