Key Business Leadership Role
We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to spearhead the development and growth of our HR and Workplace business vertical. As the Managing Director, you will lead and grow this business from a strategic, commercial, and growth perspective, across Australia and New Zealand.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the HR and Workplace business, leveraging their expertise in commercial law and management to drive business growth and profitability. This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the overall company objectives.
* Operational Excellence: Lead the Workplace and HR business vertical, focusing on continuous improvement and optimization of systems, processes, and ways of working.
* Team Development and Building: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships and leading key negotiations to drive market penetration.
* Financial Management: Oversee the financial performance, budgeting, and profitability targets for the HR and Workplace business.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
* Proven experience operating as a Managing Director or Senior Executive.
* Strong experience scaling operations in a law firm or professional services environment.
* Deep knowledge of the commercial landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
* A strong people leader, with operational management experience and proven ability to improve efficiencies in a high-growth environment.
* Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L responsibilities, including financial analysis and pricing expertise.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
