Role Description
The Communications Advisor is an exciting 6-month Max-Term Contract opportunity within our Brand, Marketing and Communications team based at our Perth Central Park office. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and amplifying Synergy's one-voice approach to internal and external communications, helping to drive engagement, alignment, and a positive reputation across the organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the Communications Advisor delivers both strategic and tactical communications that support Synergy's key organisational objectives. From crafting compelling messaging and executive communications to coordinating events and employee engagement programs, this role is ideal for a communications professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will bring excellent writing skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content. With a strong focus on consistency, brand alignment, and stakeholder influence, this role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Synergy's purpose.
Job Responsibilities
* Create and implement engaging communication initiatives that support Synergy's strategic and operational goals, ensuring alignment with the organisation's one-voice approach.
* Build strong relationships with business units and project teams to support the delivery of consistent, customer-centric communications across the organisation.
* Plan and manage internal events and programs that promote key business priorities and enhance employee engagement.
* Ensure all communications reflect Synergy's brand voice and visual identity, maintaining consistency across channels and touchpoints.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by helping stakeholders streamline communication processes and increase self-service capabilities.
What You Will Bring
* 3-5 years of experience in communications or a related discipline, ideally supported by a relevant qualification, with a proven track record of delivering impactful communication strategies in complex organisational settings.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft clear, engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to take initiative, manage competing priorities, and work independently when required.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
* A passion for brand consistency and continuous improvement, with a commitment to delivering high-quality communications that align with Synergy's purpose and values.
