Your opportunity
We are seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our team in North Ryde. In this role, you'll lead the development and implementation of commercial analysis projects, providing management with insights to drive business growth and improve performance. You will design and maintain reporting frameworks that integrate diverse data sources to support accurate decision-making.
You will work alongside senior leadership and cross-functional teams to refine sales forecasting models through detailed data analysis, oversee KPI frameworks, conduct financial analysis to support planning and cost management, optimize Salesforce automation systems, and evaluate pricing strategies based on market analysis.
Main responsibilities include:
- Leading analysis projects to provide strategic insights for business growth and sales performance.
- Designing and maintaining advanced reporting frameworks that support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborating with leadership to improve sales forecasting models through data analysis.
- Developing and monitoring KPIs, providing timely reports for strategic performance improvements.
- Conducting financial analysis of budgets and expenditures to support financial planning.
- Optimizing Salesforce automation and costing models, evaluating market-based pricing strategies.
- Providing strategic recommendations for pricing adjustments based on market and competitive analysis.
- Applying specialized knowledge to team projects, ensuring effective solutions and innovative approaches.
- Building effective relationships with internal and external partners to influence projects and demonstrate expertise.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Relevant degree in Business Administration, Sales, Finance, Data Analytics, or similar; experience in medical devices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with executives and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with commercial acumen for insightful decision-making.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and Salesforce.
