**Part-time 0.8 FTE (30 hrs), 3-year fixed-term opportunity as a Research Fellow**

- **Base Salary $122,830 - $127,433 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation**
**About the opportunity**
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:
- process and interpret data using appropriate methodologies, statistical software, and data visualisation techniques to draw meaningful conclusions, and manage follow-ups with participants or relevant stakeholders in both animal and human studies
- contribute to the writing and preparation of research reports, publications, presentations, and grant proposals to disseminate findings and secure funding, and assist with basic budget handling related to the research project
- collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary research team, including principal investigators and academic staff, to achieve project goals and ensure ethical compliance, while also liaising and following up on departmental theses and publications related to the research area
- maintains accurate and organised records of research activities, data, and findings, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines, regulatory requirements, proper documentation of protocol changes, participant interactions, and animal welfare standards.
**About you**
- PhD in a relevant field desirable
- demonstrated experience in conducting original research and contributing to scholarly activity within a relevant discipline
- maintain a developing research profile supported by emerging collaborations with academic, industry, and professional stakeholders
- proven ability to supervise and mentor students or junior colleagues, fostering academic and professional growth
- strong research planning and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
- excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences
- proficiency in computer literacy and committed to providing high-level service and support in academic environments.
