Supply Chain Manager Position
The role of Supply Chain Manager involves leading and directing operational excellence of integrated supply chain activities for Brisbane manufacturing and Australian imports business.
This position will provide strategic direction across each element of the Supply Chain to ensure it operates in an effective and coordinated manner. This includes pursuing efficiency improvements and achieving performance targets in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage supply, production, and materials planning for the Murarrie, Brisbane operation.
2. Coordinate supply of our Australian import traded business for Kerry locations around the world.
3. Ensure development and implementation of efficient customer-focused Supply Chain policies and processes to support service, cost, and inventory targets.
4. Manage OTIF targets and ensure all activities are conducted in a timely manner to support customer demand/production schedule required dates.
5. Monitor reports, data, and performance of supply chain and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Prepare, present, and support the Supply Review meeting process as part of strategic Sales and Operational Planning process.
7. Communicate and cooperate with suppliers for all matters related to supply chain (supply demand, schedule shipment, importation etc).
8. Manage and coordinate Supply Chain projects to successful outcomes.
9. Implement, monitor, and improve systems and work procedures in supply chain to achieve high effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
10. A high degree of focus on employee coaching, motivation, development, training, and performance management whilst driving a highly engaged and positive working environment.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Minimum bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business/Commerce.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a Supply Chain role with at least 5 years' experience in a leadership role.
* Experience working in Food & Beverage, Food Service or Ingredients / Flavour industries highly regarded.
* Proven track record in implementing and managing an S&OP process.
* Track record of being able to identify and drive continuous improvement and change management initiatives to develop a customer-focussed, best practice division.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
