Job Description
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to join our Claims Team in our Adelaide office on a permanent, part-time basis. This role is for 2.5 days per week to include Mondays and Fridays.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the Claims team to serve our members
* Provide administrative and coordination support including preparing claims and legal documentation, drafting correspondence, liaising with members, witnesses, experts, court, and tribunal staff
* Assist members via Avant's telephone call service
* Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements
* Process invoices, monthly billings, and MasterCard reconciliations
Requirements
* Previous experience in an administrative position in an insurance or legal environment
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Fast and accurate typing skills
* The ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and show attention to detail
* A high level of competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; and
* Experience in preparing and maintaining case files
