About the Role
The Senior Procurement and Contract Management Consultant is responsible for managing North Metropolitan TAFE (NMTAFE) procurement processes for goods, services and information and communication technology services contracts. This position provides procurement and contract management advice, develops contracts that involves planning, development and management of procurement processes and contract management.
This position provides specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders on procurement, contract management and governance aligned to NMTAFE's delegation schedules. This position is responsible for contributing to the review, development and continuous improvement of various processes and systems in the branch. The position is accountable for managing specific projects across the Procurement and Contracts branch. This position is expected to provide guidance to a small Purchasing Team (Invoice and Purchase Order processing team).
To be successful in this role you will have ideally demonstrated extensive experience in Government Procurement including developing, evaluating and managing contracts. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with external and internal stakeholders and experience in supervising a small team.
