Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Grounds and Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, maintaining outdoor spaces, and ensuring the upkeep of our buildings.
Responsibilities:
1. Sweeping and blowing of paths and outdoor areas, keeping grounds neat and tidy
2. Mowing lawns, trimming edges, pruning trees, shrubs and hedges
3. Weeding and maintaining garden beds and landscaped areas
4. BASIC REPAIRS TO OUTDOOR SURFACES STRUCTURES EQUIPMENT AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE (e.g. basic carpentry painting plumbing tasks etc)
5. Identifying addressing where possible any hazards around the grounds Organise liaise with contractors suppliers completing purchase orders as required
The ideal candidate will have a background in a trade or similar experience.
The position requires flexibility as there may be times when you need to work independently or collaborate with others on site.
The role involves performing routine maintenance tasks under close supervision but also has opportunities for growth as you develop your skills.
