Our client provides rail to road, dry freight, refrigerated and bulk freight services across Australia.
They have an exciting opportunity for Forklift Operators to join their well-established team on a casual basis located in the Penfield area.
This role is worked Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm and offers an hourly rate of $***** per hour inclusive of casual loading.
Key Responsibilities
Loading/unloading trucks, trailers, containers and rail wagons
Use of counterbalance forklift (Gas 2.5T - 5T and Electric 1.8T)
Restraining loads
Moving of awkward/ugly freight
Opportunities to work in either dry or cold storage environment
Working in a safe manner
Successful candidates will have:
Current LF High Risk Work license
Experience operating a Forklift is essential
Logistics experience is advantageous
Have flexibility with working hours and availability to work weekends if required
Great punctuality & time management
Ability to work in fast-paced environments
