We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accountant / Assistant Group Accountant to support financial operations across all group entities, participants, and properties.
Role Purpose
This role provides daily accounting and financial support to the CFO, ensuring smooth financial operations across the group. You will manage invoicing, approvals, reconciliations, participant budget tracking, PRODA lodgements, and property-related finance tasks.
The role involves close collaboration with Service Delivery, HR, and Accounts/Property teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations
Process invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable across multiple group entities.
Prepare and maintain participant budgets, including allocation tracking and utilisation reporting.
Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Manage PRODA lodgements and NDIS claiming processes.
Property & Administrative Finance
Liaise with property managers, landlords, and trades for rent, invoices, and maintenance-related financials.
Support property and accounts teams with financial tracking, documentation, and reconciliation tasks.
Maintain accurate financial records across systems and cost centres.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure documentation and processes meet audit and NDIS compliance requirements.
Assist with finance components of payroll, onboarding, and HR administration as required.
Provide ad-hoc finance and administrative support as the organisation scales.
About You
Qualification in Accounting or Finance (Cert IV, Diploma, Bachelor, or currently studying).
Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance administration.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multi-entity or multi-cost centre structures.
Experience with invoicing, reconciliations, and budgeting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Excel and accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar).
Ability to maintain confidentiality with participant and staff information.
Highly Regarded
Experience in NDIS, community services, or disability sector finance.
Understanding of PRODA, NDIS invoicing, and claiming processes.
Experience in property administration or group accounting environments.

Clear and up-to-date participant budget tracking.
Correct and compliant PRODA lodgements.
Smooth coordination with accounts, property, HR, and service delivery teams.
