Based in Victoria's picturesque Mornington Peninsula, Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door has a relaxed yet sophisticated dining room with spectacular panoramic vineyard views. We create exceptional food and wine experiences focusing on local produce that are seasonal and sustainable to showcase our wines.
The restaurant operates Wed to Sun each week for lunch from 11am. Friday and Saturday night we also do a dinner service.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate and motivated chef de partie to work within our small kitchen team to produce a level of service required to meet the standard set for our restaurant. There will be an expectation for attention to detail in every plate whilst working efficiently in your section.
Working alongside our head chef and senior sous chef, you will be given a fantastic opportunity to develop your current culinary skillset.
The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate competency in all the standard skillset requirements for a chef de partie position:
* Initiative and time management during prep and service
* Strong knife skillset.
* Working with a efficient sense of urgency.
* Having an even temperament.
* Keen eye for detail with emphasis on dish presentation.
* Consistency in food standards.
* Understanding of food related health and safety procedures to protect the health, safety and welfare of customers and employees.
